The Spanning Tree MIB can only be accessed if the

Spanning Tree protocol is enabled.

_PairGain REX MIB an enterprise specific MIB designed for the agent in the Megabit Modem CRA-C for managing the ADSL portion of the unit.

_The Ethernet interface has the ifIndex value of 1 and the WAN (ADSL) interface has an ifIndex of 2.

Access any PairGain-specific MIBs through the Internet at ftp.pairgain.com. Use the following:

•FTP ftp.pargain.com

_login using anonymous as you log-in name

_use guest or your e-mail address as you user password

_enter cd snmp/rex/mibs

•get pgrexmib.txt

Network Configuration and Image Code Download

BOOTP

BOOTP is used to supply network configuration information to Megabit Modem CRA-C from a BOOTP server. Used in conjunction with TFTP, you can use BOOTP to download image code. The Megabit Modem CRA-C initiates a BOOTP request in these situations:

current configuration sector is determined to be invalid; this can occur when the CRC of configuration sector does not match the expected CRC on power-up

user sets the value of Boot Mode to NETWORK, saves the configuration to flash, and then reboots the Megabit Modem CRA-C
