Questionable Signal Register, and the error queue. Thi s cle ars the corresponding
summary bits (3, 5, & 7) in the Status Byte Register. *CLS does not a f fec t t he
enable masks of any of the status registers .

*DMC <name>,<data> creates a macro with the specified name and assigns zero,
one, or a sequence of commands to the name. The sequence may be composed of
SCPI and/or Common Commands. The sequence must be sent in IEEE-488 .2
definite or indefinite block format.

Comments Legal macro names must start with an alphabetic char a ct er and c ontain only
alphabetic, numeric, and underscore ("_") chara cters. Alphabetic character case
(upper vs. lower) is ignored.
The name is allowed to be the same as a SCPI command, but may be not be the
same as a Common Command. When the name is the same as a SCPI command,
the macro rather than the command will be executed when the name is received if
macro usage is enabled. The SCPI command will b e executed if macro usage is
disabled.
