NXC-ME Master-Ethernet Card

The NXM-ME Master-Ethernet Card is a NetLinx Master Card with a 10/100 Base-T TCP/IP

Ethernet connection.

Power Requirements	400 mA @ 12 VDC

Memory	• Disk on chip (Non-volatile): 8 MB (upgradeable to 32 MB)
	• SDRAM (Volatile): 16 MB
	• NVS (Non-volatile): 1 MB

LEDs:
AXlink	Green LED blinks to show AXlink data activity.
Ethernet 10/100	LEDs that show communication activity, connections, speeds, and mode information:
	• A-activity - Yellow LED blinks when receiving Ethernet data packets.
	• L-link - Green LED lights when the Ethernet cables are connected and terminated
	correctly.
	• Speed - Green LED lights when transmitting data at 100 Mbps, and is off when
	transmitting at 10 Mbps.
	• FD-full duplex - Green LED lights when running in full duplex mode, and is off when
	running half duplex mode.
ICSNet	Green LED lights when sending/receiving data.
ICSHub IN/OUT	Yellow LED lights when sending/receiving data.

Connectors:
PWR	2-pin (male) green captive-wire connector for 12 VDC power supply.
Ethernet 10/100	RJ-45 Ethernet 10/100 connector. The Ethernet Port automatically negotiates the con-
	nection speed (10 Mbps or 100 Mbps) and whether to use half duplex or full duplex
	mode.
AXlink	Black 4-pin (male) captive-wire connector that provides data and power to external con-
	trol devices.
	• Power rating = 6 A max; actual load depends on connected power supply.
PROGRAM port	5-pin (male) gray connector for system programming and diagnostics.
ICSNet	Two RJ-45 connectors that provide power and data to external ICSNet devices.
	• Power rating = 500 mA.

ICSHub In/Out	Two RJ-45 connectors that provide data to other Hubs connected to the Master Card.

Enclosure:	Metal with black matte finish.

Front Faceplate:	Plastic gray with translucent viewing window.
