Recharging in both the computer and a recharger

You can use a single power adapter to run both the

PowerBook Duo and the battery recharger at the same time.

If the PowerBook is on and contains a battery that is not fully

charged, the computer charges the internal battery first. The

external battery does not begin charging until the internal battery

is fully charged. If you are still using the computer at that point, it

takes a little over 2 hours for a fully depleted external battery to

charge.

If the PowerBook is in sleep or shut down, internal and external

batteries charge simultaneously. If both batteries are fully

depleted, it takes about 41⁄2hours to charge both. If the internal

battery is fully charged or absent, the external battery takes a little

over 2 hours to charge.

The computer just stopped. The computer exhibits odd behavior, such as many unexplained system failures. Power The battery is draining too fast. The battery cant be recharged. You just cleaned the trackball, and it feels worse than before. Memory A not enough memory message appears when you try to open a program. Virtual memory is supposed to be on, but its off. The Duo Dock You cant insert the computer into the dock. You cant turn on the docked computer. The computer is on but the monitor is blank. You cant eject the computer from the dock. The Duo MiniDock SCSI devices You cant turn on the computer after connecting a SCSI device. The computer doesnt recognize your SCSI devices. Disk drives and disks The har d disk keeps stopping and starting again. The har d disk is full. The icon of a floppy disk doesnt appear on the screen. You cant eject a disk from a floppy disk drive.
