Composite video is switched on with the COMPOSITE key

§.

The LED indicates if composite video is on.

The difference between the outputs is that there is ”normal video” on connector OUT 1

COMPOSITE key

The ”normal video” output (OUT 1) supplies almost no inserted electronic information. Only a flashing bar at the button left corner of the video image indicates a running film camera.

The ”video with data” output (OUT 2) supplies additional inserted data such as format marks or time code.
