worked with recently. To open an ap p, touch it. To re-
move a thumbnail from the lis t, swipe it left o r right.
if you don’t use these butto ns often, they may shrin k to dots or
fade away, depending on the cu rrent app. To bring them back,
touch their location.
Settings
on the All Apps screen avai lable from the Favor-
ites tray, notice the setting s icon. This brings you
to the settings screens fo r your tablet, where you
can adjust things like net work, soun d, and account
settings, among many ot hers.
TIP: You can use Quick settings to tog gle Wi-Fi , change dis -
play brightness, and mo re. To open Quick settings , swipe
down from the top right corn er of any screen.
At the top of the scre en you’ll nd Google Sear ch, which le ts you
search your tablet or the in ternet. Touch Google to type your
search terms, or the Microphone icon to speak them.
Many screens in apps and se ttings incl ude a Menu icon. Touch
it to explore additional o ptions, often inclu ding a Help item that
provides more informati on about that scre en.
