IMPOrTANT: The location settings descr ibed here are
available only if your tabl et has Google Maps for mobile
version 7.0 or higher. To get the latest Goo gle Maps, open
Google Play and search for G oogle Maps. if you don ’t have
the latest version, you’ ll see an update but ton.
Dene home & work
As you use Google Now, you may be asked to conrm you r home
or work addre ss to ge t commute trafc information, travel h elp,
and more. You can change thes e addresses in se veral other ways:
• When a Trafc c ard appear s for home or work , touch the
info icon.
• on the main Google Now scree n, go to Menu > Settings > M y
stuff > Places, then edit Home or Work.
• Visit maps.google.com from a browser and open M y Places.
• Visit Location History dashboard from a browser, click Change
next to Time at Work or Time at Ho me, edit the address , and
click Save.
Turn off Location reporting & H istory
To turn off both Location Repo rting and Loca tion History fo r your
tablet:
1. open Goog le settings fro m the All Apps scre en.
2. To tur n off Location Repo rting, touch Location > Location re-
porting, then slide the switc h to OFF.
3. To tur n off Location Histo ry, touch Location > Location Histo-
ry, then slide the switch to OFF.
