Basic editing

• Move the insertion point. Touch where you want to type.

The cursor blinks in the ne w position, and a blu e tab appears

below it. drag the tab to move the c ursor.

• Select text. Touch & hold or do uble-tap wi thin the text.

The nearest word highli ghts, with a tab at each e nd of the se-

lection. drag the tabs to ch ange the selec tion.

The tab disappears afte r a few moments. To make it rea ppear,

touch the text again.

• Delete text. Touc h to delete selected text or th e charac-

ters before the cursor.

• Type capital letters. Touch the shift key once to switch to cap-

ital letters for one let ter.

or touch & hold shift key while you type. W hen you release

the key, the lowercase letter s reappear.

• Turn caps lock on. double -tap or touch & ho ld shift key, so it

changes to . Touch s hift key agai n to return to lower case.

• Cut, copy, paste. select the te xt you want to manip ulate. Then

touch Cut, Copy or Paste button:
