You can turn off and delete your l ocation his tory and stil l use Goo-
gle Now, but certain kin ds of information, s uch as commute traf-
c, may be limited or won’t sh ow up at all.
Delete Location History de tails even if you turn off both Loca tion Report ing and Locati on History,
your previously record ed history is still availa ble to Google ser-
vices such as Google Now.
To delete Location History us ing Google settings, fol low these
steps:
1. open Goog le settings fro m your device’s app s menu.
2. To uch Location > Location History.
3. To uch Delete Location History at the bottom of the scre en.
IMPOrTANT: if you delete Location History fro m Google
settings, all of your his tory will be deleted. This c an’t be
reverted, and may cause so me apps like Googl e Now to ex-
perience problems . To delete certain se gments of your his -
tory, follow the steps below to re move it using the Lo cation
History Map tab.
To delete Location History de tails, follow thes e steps from a web
browser:
1. open a web br owser and make sure you’re si gned in with the
account whose Locatio n History you want to ma nage.
2. V isit Location History.
