Settings
To open settings, touch its ic on in All Apps. To
open Quick settings , swipe down from the to p right
of any screen.
To get more information about m ost settings
screens, touch Menu > Help.
Quick settings provid e the fastest way to adjust settings t hat
you access frequently, su ch as Wi-Fi or bri ghtness. You can also
reach the main settings s creen from Quic k settings.
Most apps include their o wn settings, ty pically available f rom
Menu > Settings.
These are the main types of s ettings available. C lick the links to
see the help articles ava ilable for each ca tegory.
• Wireless & networks. Wi-Fi , bluetooth, data usage, Andro id
beam, and related setti ngs.
• Device. sound, battery, sleep, and oth er display sett ings.
• Personal. Location a ccess, language, and b ackup/reset
options.
• Security. Passwords and certi cates, app ve rication, screen
lock, and encryption.
• Accounts. sync and other account settings.
• System. date, time, accessibil ity, and device inf ormation.
