Setting up the network

●Use organization names (for example, “WorldWideSales_VPN” or “ApplicationsEngineering_VPN”) since VPNs usually represent functional organizations within a corporation.

Note:

Once the domain name is created, you cannot change it.

3.In the Security text box, select the firewall template to be applied to this domain. For detailed information regarding the security policies included in this template, see Chapter 8: Establishing security.

	High	The high security template enforces
		very strict security policies on the
		traffic going to and from the security
		gateway.

	Medium	The medium security template
		enforces strict security policies on
		the traffic going to and from the
		security gateway.

	Low	The low security template enforces
		security policies on the traffic going
		to and from the security gateway.

	VPN Only	The VPN only security template
		enforces security policies on the
		tunnel end points. This template
		also gives a higher priority to VPN
		traffic.

	None	Firewall rules are not enforced. All
		traffic is permitted into and out of the
		network.

4. Click Apply to create the domain

The name of your new VPN domain appears in the title bar of the VPNmanager Console main window. The domain is open and ready to be configured.
