For example, in the web manager, user configuration is d one when an ad ministrator selects -
Users -Local Accounts -User Nam es to get to the User Names screen. To navigate to the
equivalent config uration level in the CLI, an administrato rw ould use the cd command
followed by the pat h: cd/users /local_accounts/user_names.
Administrators should log i nto the CLI in one window and log into th e web manager in
another window to see how the menu optio ns in the web manager map to the navi gation
options in the CLI. Configurati on with the CLI also requires mastery of the followi ng
information on CLI nav igation and of the CLI commands shown in Chapter 2.
CLINavigation
The CLI navigation options are in a nested tree configurati on.
NOTE: Whena command line isshow n inan example, and the step starts with “Enter ,” or when a syntax example is
given,the user should typethe comma nd asshown an d then press Enter. The Enter key isn ot shown in

When a user logs in the CLI, the prompt in dicates the user is at the / level.

At any CLI prompt at any level, if you type cd and p ressTab Tab, th e navigation options (path
elements) for that level are listed. Different optio ns appear for administrators and forau thorized
users.
