Procedures
To view offers to lend you eBooks:
1On the Home menu, tap the daily.
2View the notifications. Among them, you might see an offer to lend you an eBook.
To accept a lending offer from The Daily:
1On the Home menu, tap the daily.
2In The Daily, navigate to the lending offer in the section FROM A FRIEND and tap Select.
3Tap Yes, Borrow this. Your NOOK displays a
To accept a lending offer from your library:
1On the Home menu, tap my library.
2If you are viewing My Documents, tap Go to My B&N Library.
3Navigate to the eBook. It will have 
next to it. Tap Select.
4Tap Yes, Borrow this.
5Your NOOK downloads the eBook. After it finishes, tap Read.
To decline a lending offer:
1In The Daily, navigate to the lending offer and tap Select.
2Tap No, Thank You.
To read a borrowed eBook:
You read a borrowed eBook just as you read any other eBook. To resume reading, tap reading now on the Home menu. To pick something to read in your library:
1On the Home menu, choose my library.
2If you are viewing My Documents, tap Go to My B&N Library.
3Navigate to what you want to read. Details about choosing something to read are in “Organizing Your Library” on page 95.
4Tap Select. If the item has already been downloaded, it opens in the Reader. If it has not been downloaded, tap Download. After the item downloads, tap Read.
