USB Connectivity
You can connect your NOOK to your personal computer using the provided USB cable. Your NOOK uses USB 2.0.
Connecting your NOOK to your personal computer puts your NOOK in USB drive mode. This lets you:
•Obtain content from the Internet and place it on your NOOK
•Put music, screensaver images, and wallpaper images on your NOOK
•Back up files
•Install large software updates
You cannot simultaneously manage files and folders through USB and use your NOOK, so when your NOOK is in USB drive mode, it is locked. If you are listening to the audio player, that stops too.
