11DCN-WAP Wireless Access Point
11.1Introduction
The wireless access point:
•Sends signals from the central control unit to the wireless devices.
•Receives signals from the wireless devices and sends them to the central control unit.
11.2Firmware
The version numbers of the software of the wireless access point (refer to 10.6.7) and the central control unit (refer to 10.6.6) must be the same.
Note
Use the Download and License Tool to send new software to the wireless access point.
11.3Controls, connectors and indicators
The wireless access point contains:
1Status LEDs - Give information about the condition of the wireless network and the wireless access point (refer to 11.7).
2Optical network sockets - Connect the wireless access point to the optical network (refer to 11.5.1).
