Using the Wave/PC™ Unit Controls
Waking to a preselected AM/FM station
Select ALARM or ALARM 2. Press and hold Alarm Set, and then press one of the six station Presets buttons (you can change between AM and FM if needed). To clear the preset, press and hold Alarm Set and press the button for that preset again.
Stopping the alarm
Press the On/Off button (or the stop ■ button on the remote). The indicators remain lit.
If you do not turn off the alarm, the tone | alarm shuts off in 30 minutes, the radio | alarm |
shuts off in 60 minutes. The alarm automatically resets to repeat daily. |

Pausing the alarm for 10 minutes
Press the Sleep/Snooze button (or the Snooze/Mute button on the remote).
When the Alarm Mode is set for both music 
and tone 
alarms, press the Sleep/Snooze button to pause the tone for 10 minutes and turn on the music. Press again to silence the music – the tone repeats in 10 minutes.
You can repeat the snooze cycle as many times as you want. If you do not press any button while the tone is sounding, it continues for 30 minutes and then shuts off automatically.
Setting the volume of the music alarm
Press the Volume up or down button.
When the music alarm turns on, the alarm volume gradually increases to the last volume set- ting used. You can set the volume level with the Wave/PC™ unit on or off.
Setting the volume of the tone alarm
While the tone alarm is sounding, press the Volume up or down button.
When the tone alarm turns on, the tone alarm volume gradually increases to the last volume setting used.
Using the alarm during a power loss
On the control panel only, press the On/Off button to silence the alarm.
The 9V backup battery operates only the tone alarm for approximately 48 hours following the loss of AC power. To conserve power, only the tone alarm sounds even if the radio alarm is also selected. Normal operation resumes when AC power is restored.
Note: The Wave/PC system does not respond to remote control commands during an AC power outage. Be sure to replace the 9V battery after an extended power loss. For battery replacement instructions, see “Setting up the Wave/PC™ remote control” on page 8.
