c Clean the corona wire inside the drum unit by gently sliding the green tab from right to left and left to right several times.

Be sure to return the tab to the home position (a) (1). If you do not, printed pages may have a vertical stripe.

d Put the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly back into the machine. Close the front cover.

A new drum unit can print approximately 12,000 Letter or A4 size single-sided pages.

•There are many factors that determine the actual drum life, such as the temperature, humidity, type of paper, type of toner used
