Using the Option Key

The Options key changes the settings for paper type, print size and color enhancement for the next fax only. These options will be displayed in the order of the chart below.

Press Options.

1Press Options.

2Press or to select PAPER TYPE, PRINT SIZE or COLOR ENHANCE, and press Set.

If you selected the PAPER TYPE:

If you use premium paper, the copy quality will be improved. For best results, we recommended using Brother specials paper.

3Press or to select the type of paper you are using (PLAIN, INK JET, GLOSSY, PHOTO or TRANSPRNCY), and press Set.

Brother coated paper is ink jet paper.

Note If you are using non-Brother ink jet paper or Brother coated paper select

INK JET.

If you selected INK JET:

4Press Press or to select BROTHER (BP72CL) or OTHER (non-Brother ink jet) paper type, and press Set.
