Installing the Brother Printer and Scanner Drivers

1Turn on the power to your Macintosh and wait for the startup process to be completed.

2Insert the Brother CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. The window below will appear automatically.

3To install the printer and scanner drivers, click

MFL Pro Driver Installer.

4After installation is completed, connect a standard USB cable to both the MFC and the Macintosh.

Note Restart your Macintosh so it can recognize the new drivers.

Installing PaperPort®

PaperPort is a document management application used to view scanned documents.

1.Insert the Brother CD-ROM.

2.Click the PaperPort® 5.5 Installer.

3.Follow the instructions.
