The total recording time for messages and memos is 14 minutes.

Recording memos

You can leave memo messages on your Diverse 2016. You have the same time to record a memo as currently set for incoming messages. The default setting is 120 seconds.

Using your Diverse 2016 answering machine

To record a memo

Record

•Press the RECORD button on the base station and the handset rings.

Stop

•Answer the call at the handset. The voice says ‘Recording message’. You hear a beep.

•Speak your memo message.

•Press the END CALL button on the handset or the STOP button to stop recording. The message counter logs your memo.

Displaying new and old messages

Your Diverse 2016 can tell you which messages are new and which messages have already been played back.

When there are new messages:

•The ANSWER ON/OFF button flashes.

•The display indicates the total number of messages stored.
