Remote access
To delete an outgoing message/announcement
First select operating mode A1, A2 or A 
by following the instructions on page 38 entitled ‘To select the operating mode’.

•Press the 0 button. The voice announces, ‘Deleting’.
•Press the 7 button to confirm deletion. The voice says, ‘Announcement deleted’.
or
•Press the 5 button to cancel.
To record a memo message
Memo messages may be made in remote access mode. Do not pause for longer than 8 seconds when recording a memo or the answering machine will end the call.

•Press the 6 button. The voice says, ‘Recording’.
•Press the 2 button. the voice
says, ‘Recording message’. After the beep, speak your message.

•To cancel, press the 5 button.

Dialling in to switch your answering machine to Answer ON from another remote phone
•Your system code must be changed from the default (0000).
•Dial your number and let it ring. After approximately 17 rings, your Diverse 2016 answering machine automatically answers.
•The Diverse 2016 will ask you for the system code.
•You will have 3 attempts to answer the correct system code. The Diverse 2016 will disconnect the call if all are incorrect.
•After you have successfully entered the correct system code, all of the previous instructions are available.
