Manual sending ____________________________

If you would like to first speak with the person you are sending the document to, use manual sending. You need to connect the handset or extension phone to the fax for manual sending.

1Load the document face up into the document tray.

See Loading documents, p. 3-2.

You can set the scanning resolution and contrast (see p. 5-1).

2Pick up the handset or press [Hook] and dial the receiving party’s fax number.

Use one of the dialling methods described in this chapter (see p. 5-2).
