Using Registration Memory

To recall registration memory bank data from a file

1. Depending on where the file is located, perform one of the steps shown below.

2. Press the  (REGISTRATION) button so the lamp below it is lit. This is the REGISTRATION mode.

3. If you are recalling a file that contains data for

asingle bank, use the  (w, q) buttons to scroll through the bank numbers (1 through 8) until the one to which you want to recall the data is displayed.

If you are recalling a file that contains data for all banks, you can skip this step.

4.While holding down the  (FUNCTION) button, press the  (LOAD/SAVE) button.

This enters the LOAD/SAVE mode.

5.Depending on the type of operation you want to perform, use the  (u) and  (i) buttons to display one of the screens shown

below.

To recall a file that contains data for a single bank

To recall a file that contains data for all banks

6. Use the  (w, q) buttons to display the file that contains the data you want to recall, and then press the  (ENTER) button.

This will cause the message “Replace?” to appear.

To cancel the recall operation and exit the LOAD/ SAVE mode, press the  (EXIT) button.

7. To replace the registration data currently in the bank(s) you selected with the registration data in the file, press the  (YES) button. To return to the screen in step 6 of this procedure without recalling anything, press the  (NO) button.

Pressing the  (YES) button recalls the data from the file into the bank(s) and exits the LOAD/SAVE mode.
