Mounting the Phone to the Wall

You can mount the Cisco Unified IP Phone on the wall by using special brackets available in a Cisco Unified IP Phone wall mount kit. For information on installing the wall mount kit, see Appendix E, “Installing the Wall Mount Kit for the Cisco Unified IP Phone 6921, 6941, and 6961” or Appendix F, “Cisco Unified IP Phone Non-Lockable Wall Mount.”

Note Wall mount kits are ordered separately from the phone.

Verifying the Phone Startup Process

After the Cisco Unified IP Phone has power connected to it, the phone begins its startup diagnostic process by cycling through the following steps.

1.The following LED buttons flash on and off during the various stages of bootup as the phone checks its hardware. See Table 3-2for a list of the hardware test and the LED diagnostic status.
