Clock Policy Page

Tip You can configure the local time on the router by defining an NTP policy or by configuring the clock set command using the CLI.

Navigation Path

(Device view) Select Platform > Device Admin > Clock from the Policy selector.

(Policy view) Select Router Platform > Device Admin > Clock from the Policy Type selector. Right-clickClock to create a policy, or select an existing policy from the Shared Policy selector.

Device Time Zone

The time zone in which the router is located, expressed in relation to GMT

 

 

(Greenwich Mean Time), also known as UTC (Coordinated Universal Time).

 

 

Daylight Savings Time

The type of DST to apply to the local time on the router:

(Summer Time)

 

Set by Date—Enables you to define the exact date and time when DST

 

 

 

 

 

begins and ends.

 

 

Set by Day—Enables you to define the relative recurring date and time

 

 

 

when DST begins and ends. For example, you can use this option when

 

 

 

DST begins the last Sunday of March and ends the last Sunday of

 

 

 

October.

 

 

None—Daylight savings time is not used.
