DHCP Policy Page

DHCP Policy Page

Use the DHCP policy page to define a DHCP server policy on the selected router. This includes specifying the address pools used by the DHCP server when assigning addresses to requesting clients.

For more information, see Defining DHCP Policies, page 15-121.

Navigation Path

(Device view) Select Platform > Device Admin > Server Access > DHCP from the Policy selector.

(Policy view) Select Router Platform > Device Admin > Server Access > DHCP from the Policy Type selector. Right-clickDHCP to create a policy, or select an existing policy from the Shared Policy selector.

The interval (in seconds) between DHCP assignment updates sent to the

 

 

 

external DHCP database agent.

 

 

 

 

 

Add button

 

Opens the DHCP Database Dialog Box, page K-170. From here you can

 

 

 

define a DHCP database agent.

 

 

 

 

 

Edit button

 

Opens the DHCP Database Dialog Box, page K-170. From here you can edit
