The following example shows a one-port PA-T3 serial port adapter on a Catalyst RSM/VIP2:

show controllers cbus) are not relevant to any physical connection; you should disregard these slot values for the Catalyst RSM/VIP2.

For a VIP2, use the show controllers cbus command to display all of the current interface processors and their interfaces. Following is an example of the show controllers cbus command that shows serial port 1/0/0 on a one-port PA-T3 serial port adapter installed on a VIP2 in chassis slot 1:
