Example 4: Copying One Logical Volume by Logical VolumeName or by FS
Name (2) In this example, you are copying one logical volume (lv_C) from the parent array to the
RAID-Copy array. You can use either the logical volume name (lv_C), or the FS name
(data_fs2).
Tocopy one logical volume by logical volume name, give the commands:
ssa_make_copy -P -l lv_C
ssa_make_copy -l lv_C
Tocopy one logical volume by fs name, type:
ssa_make_copy -P -f data_fs2
ssa_make_copy -f data_fs2
Figure28 shows, from left to right:
vThe parent array that contains the source volume group.
vThe empty RAID-Copy array coupled to the parent array.
vThe uncoupled RAID-Copy array that now contains a copy of the logical volume.
