microSD Card

microSDHC Compatibility

At the time of this writing, the micro SD card interface for this product supports SD-Memory Card Specifications/
Part 1. Physical Layer Specification; Version 1.01, but the processor MCI can communicate with SDHC Cards. For
example, the scanner can perform the functions specified in this appendix for the SDA 2.0 specification.

microSD Card Insertion/Removal Indication

The scanner will audibly indicate insertion and removal of a micro SD card if the test port is not active or host
commands are not in progress.

Autorun File Processing

After insertion of the card, the scanner will mount the micro SD card and search for the file “autorun.dls”. Embed-
ded in that file is a validation pattern of the ASCII strings “$START$” and “$END$” located at the respective
starting and ending of the file.
If the validation pattern is found, the file may contain any of the following commands. The scanner will parse the
file taking action according to these commands. Filenames in italics specify a user-defined name.
Example autorun.dls file:
$START$ (required)
CARDINFO
CONFIG, filename.tex
DUMPSTATS, filename.txt
DUMPCFG, filename.tex
LOADSW, filename.bin
LOADHW, filename.vme
$END$ (required)
