GS1 DataBar Expanded Set Length 1
This feature specifies one of the barcode lengths for GS1 DataBar Expanded Length Control. Length 1 is the minimum label length if in Variable Length Mode, or the first fixed length if in Fixed Length Mode. Length includes the barcode’s data characters on- ly.
The length can be set from 1 to 74 characters.
Follow these instructions to set this feature:
1.Determine the desired character length (from 1 to 74). Pad the number with lead- ing zeroes to yield two digits. For example: 0 = 00, 5 = 05, 20 = 20, etc.
2.Scan the ENTER/EXIT PROGRAMMING MODE barcode to enter Program- ming Mode.
3.Scan the barcode: SELECT GS1 DATABAR EXPANDED LENGTH 1 SET- TING.

If you make a mistake before the last character, scan the CANCEL barcode to abort and not save the entry string. You can then start again at the beginning.
