Installing the Control Panel

Replace the control panel on the chassis. See Figure3-23.

Secure with the single screw.

Youshould only perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in
yourproduct documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service
andsupport team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is
notcovered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came
with the product.
Removing the Control Panel Assembly

Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect
the system from its electrical outlet.

Open the system. See "Opening the System" on page 53.

Remove the eight securing screws on the front and sides of
thesystem cover.
