Remove the center control cover (see “Removing the Center Control Cover” 8.
on page 30).
Remove the keyboard (see “Removing the Keyboard” on page 9. 34).
Remove the palm rest (see “Removing the Palm Rest” on page 10. 38).
Remove the display assembly (see “Removing the Display Assembly” on 11.
page 73).
Release the ExpressCard connector latch and disconnect the ExpressCard 12.
cable from the system board connector.
Press and eject any installed cards from the ExpressCard slot and the 8-in-1 13.

Remove the twelve screws that secure the magnesium cover to the 14.
computer base.
Lift the magnesium cover o the computer.15.
