Removing the Coin-cell Battery

1.Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.

2.Remove:

a.battery

b.bottom cover

3.Perform the following steps to remove the coin-cell battery:

a.Peel away the double-stick adhesive tape.

b.Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the system board. [1]

c.Lift and remove the coin-cell battery from the computer. [2]

1.Align the coin-cell battery into its position on the computer, adhering it to the chassis wall.

2.Install the coin-cell battery connector to its slot on the system board.

3.Install:

a.bottom cover

b.battery
