Changing the printing mode for a single print job

1With a document open, click File Print.

2Click Properties, Preferences, Options, or Setup.

3Select Automatic, Quick Print, Normal, or Best.

Note: Printing in Draft mode uses less ink and is ideal for printing text documents.

Pausing print jobs

1Click , or click Start and then click Run.

2In the Start Search or Run box, type control printers.

3Press Enter, or click OK. The printer folder opens.

4Right-click the printer, and then select Pause Printing.

Resuming print jobs

1Click , or click Start and then click Run.

2In the Start Search or Run box, type control printers.

3Press Enter, or click OK. The printer folder opens.

4Right-click the printer, and then select Open.

5Resume the print job:

If you want to resume a particular print job, then right-click the document name, and then select Resume.

If you want to resume all print jobs in the queue, then click Printer, and then clear the selection for Pause Printing.

Canceling print jobs

To cancel a print job from the printer control panel, press . To cancel a print job from the computer, do the following:

1Click , or click Start and then click Run.

2In the Start Search or Run box, type control printers.

3Press Enter, or click OK. The printer folder opens.

4Right-click the printer, and then select Open.

5Cancel the print job:

If you want to cancel a particular print job, then right-click the document name, and then select Cancel.

If you want to cancel all print jobs in the queue, then click Printer Cancel All Documents.
