The pull tractor sprockets and the built-in tractor sprockets may not be aligned correctly. Align the pull tractor and built-in tractor sprockets.

The sprocket units may not be positioned for the width of your paper. Move the right sprwket unit to the right to remove any slack in the paper or to the left to remove any excess tension in the paper.

The paper may have too much slack along its length. Press in the pull tractor feed knob on the right and turn it to remove any excess slack. See page 5-9.

The paper may not meet the specifications for the DFX-8000. Check that your paper is of the proper size, weight, and thickness. See pages 8-5and 8-6.

The print head may be catching the binding area of your multi-part forms. Turn on DIP switch 3-7 to select the skip over binding function. See page 3-16.

The printout contains Skip over perforation may be set. Turn offregular gaps.DIP switch 3-3.See page 3-18.

does not work.when the printer was on. To make any new DIP switch settings effective, turn off the printer and then turn it back on.
