Worn Fuser
This message indicates that the fuser unit is near the end of its service life. Printing after this message appears is not guaranteed. Turn the printer off, then reinstall the unit after it has cooled off (40 minutes). Then replace the fuser unit with a new one. See "Fuser Unit" on page 217 for instructions.
The error clears automatically after you replace the unit and close all printer covers.
Write Error ROM A/Write Error ROM P
This message indicates an internal error in the printer. Reset the printer. If this error persists, consult your dealer.
Writing ROM A/Writing ROM P
This message indicates that a ROM module in slot is being written. Please wait until this message disappears.
Wrong Toner
The wrong imaging cartridge has been installed. Replace it with the correct imaging cartridge for this printer. See "Imaging Cartridge" on page 213 for instructions.
XXX Open
