Client only Environments:

When using the LPR connection (in Windows XP, 2000, or Server 2003).

When using the Standard TCP/IP connection (in Windows XP, 2000, or Server 2003).

When using the EpsonNet Print TCP/IP connection (in Windows XP, Me, 98, 2000, or Server 2003).

Note:

You cannot use this function in the following situations:

When using an optional Ethernet interface card that does not support the Job Management function.

When the NetWare connections do not support the Job Management function.

When the printing jobs from NetWare and NetBEUI are displayed as “Unknown” on the Job Management menu.

Note that if the user account used to log on to a client is different from the user account used to connect to the server, the Job Management function is not available.

Note on deleting print jobs:

You cannot delete the print job spooling on client computers running Windows Me or 98 using EPSON Status Monitor when the following connections are used:

When using the shared Windows 2000 or Server 2003 LPR connection.

When using the shared Windows 2000 or Server 2003 standard TCP/IP connection.

When using the shared Windows 2000 or Server 2003 EpsonNet Print TCP/IP connection.
