!Whenplaying a CD TEXT disc on a CD TEXT
compatiblemulti-CD player, you cannot
switchto D.TITLE INPUT. The disc title will
havealready been recorded on a CD TEXT
disc.
!Ifyou do not operate the function within about
30seconds, the display is automatically re-
turnedto the playback display.
Repeating play
Thereare three repeat play ranges for the
multi-CDplayer: MCD (multi-CD player re-
peat),Track (one-track repeat) and Disc (disc
repeat).
1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
PLAYMODE.
Thefunction name tag PLAY MODE is high-
lighted.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to select the re-
peatrange.
PressMULTI-CONTROL repeatedly until the
desiredrepeat range appears in the display.
!MCDRepeat all discs in the multi-CD
player
!TrackRepeat just the current track
!DiscRepeat the current disc

!Ifyou select other discs during repeat play,
therepeat play range changes to MCD.
!Ifyou perform track search or fastforward/re-
verseduring Track, the repeat play range
changesto Disc.
Playing tracks in a random
order
Randomplay lets you play back tracks in a
randomorder within the repeat range, MCD
andDisc.
1 Selectthe repeat range.

2 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
RANDOM.
Thefunction name tag RANDOM is high-
lighted.
3 PressMULTI-CONTROL to turn random
playon.
Randommode :ON appearsin the display.
Trackswill play in a random order within the
previouslyselected MCD or Disc ranges.
#Toturn random play off, press
MULTI-CONTROLagain.
Scanning CDs and tracks
Whileyou are using Disc, the beginning of
eachtrack on the selected disc plays forabout
10seconds. When you are using MCD, the be-
ginningof the first track of eachdisc is played
forabout 10 seconds.
1 Selectthe repeat range.

Thefunction name tag SCAN is highlighted.
3 PressMULTI-CONTROL to turn scan play
on.
Scanmode :ON appearsin the display. The
first10 seconds of each track of thecurrent
disc(or the first track of each disc) is played.
