!Thisunit allows playback of MP3/WMA/
WAVfiles on CD-ROM, CD-R and CD-RW
discs.Disc recordings compatible with
level1 and level 2 of ISO9660 and with the
Romeoand Joliet file system can be played
back.
!Itis possible to play back multi-session
compatiblerecorded discs.
!MP3/WMA/WAVfiles are not compatible

!Thefolder selection sequence for playback
andother operations becomes the writing
sequenceused by the writing software. For
thisreason, the expected sequence at the
timeof playback may not coincide with the
actualplayback sequence. However, there
alsois some writing software which per-
mitssetting of the playback order.

!Whennaming an MP3/WMA/WAV file, add
thecorresponding filename extension (.mp3,
.wmaor .wav).
!Thisunit plays back files with the filename ex-
tension(.mp3, .wmaor.wav) asan MP3/
WMA/WAVfile. To prevent noise and malfunc-
tions,do not use these extensions for files
otherthan MP3/WMA/WAV files.

MP3 additional information

!Filesare compatible with the ID3 Tag Ver.
1.0,1.1, 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4 formats for display
ofalbum (disc title), track (track title), artist
(trackartist) and comments. Ver. 2.x of ID3
Tagis given priority when both Ver.1.x and
Ver.2.x exist.
