Pausing disc playback

1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select PAUSE.

Thefunction name tag PAUSE is highlighted.

2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to turn pause

on.

Pause:ON appears in the display. Play of the

currenttrack pauses.

#Toturn pause off, press MULTI-CONTROL

again.

Playing tracks in a random

order

!Youcan operate this function only during

CDplayback.

1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select

RANDOM.

Thefunction name tag RANDOM is high-

lighted.

2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to turn random

playon.

Randommode :ON appearsin the display.

Trackswill play in a random order.

#Toturn random play off, press

MULTI-CONTROLagain.

Scanning tracks of a CD

!Youcan operate this function only during

CDplayback.

1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select SCAN.

Thefunction name tag SCAN is highlighted.

2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to turn scan play

on.

Scanmode :ON appearsin the display. The

first10 seconds of each track is played.

3 Whenyou find the desired track press

MULTI-CONTROLto turn scan play off.

Using ITS playlists

!Youcan operate these functions only when

amulti-DVD player is connected to this

unit.

!Thisfunction differs slightly from ITS play-

backwith a multi-CD player. With multi-

DVDplayer, ITS playback applies only to the

CDplaying. For details, refer to Using ITS

playlistson page 34.

Using disc title functions

Youcan input CD titles and display the titles.

Thenyou can easily search for and play a de-

sireddisc.

Entering disc titles

Disctitle input lets you input CD titles up to 10

letterslong into the multi-DVD player. For de-

tailsconcerning operation, refer to Entering

disctitles on page 36.

!Youcan operate this function only when a

multi-DVDplayer is connected to this

unit.
