Initialsettings lets you per form initial setup of
differentsettings for this unit.
1Functionname tag
Showsthe function currently selected in
highlightedmanner.
2Functiondisplay
Showsthe function status.
1 PressSOURCE and hold until the unit
turnsoff.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL and hold until
theclock appears in the display.
3 TurnMULTI-CONTROL to select one of
theinitial settings.
TurnMULTI-CONTROL clockwise to switch be-
tweenthe functions in the following order:
CLOCK(clock)AUX (auxiliary input) DIM
(dimmer)BRIGHT(brightness)D.ATT (digi-
talattenuator)MUTE (telephone muting/at-
tenuation)WARN(warning tone)DEMO
(featuredemo)REV (reverse mode)FONT
(font)SCROLL(ever scroll)AUTO OPEN
(flapauto open)
#Youcan also switch between the functions in
thereverse order by turning MULTI-CONTROL
counterclockwise.
#Tocancel initial settings, press BAND/ESC.
Setting the clock
Usethese instructions to set the clock.
1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select CLOCK.
Thefunction name tag CLOCK is highlighted.
2 PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right to
selectthe segment of the clock display you
wishto set.
PushingMULTI-CONTROL left or right will se-
lectone segment of the clock display:
HourMinute
Asyou select segments of the clock display
thesegment selected will blink.
3 PushMULTI-CONTROL up or down to
setthe clock.
PushingMULTI-CONTROL up will increase
theselected hour or minute. Pushing
MULTI-CONTROLdown will decrease the se-
lectedhour or minute.
Note
Youcan match the clock to a time signal by
pressingMULTI-CONTROL.
!Ifthe minute is 0029, the minutes are
roundeddown. (e.g., 10:18 becomes 10:00.)
!Ifthe minute is 3059, the minutes are
roundedup. (e.g., 10:36 becomes 11:00.)
Switching the auxiliary setting
Itis possible to use auxiliar y equipment with
thisunit. Activate the auxiliar y setting when
usingauxiliary equipment connectedto this
unit.
