Using the position selector
Oneway to assure a more natural sound is to
clearlyposition the stereo image, putting you
rightin the center of the sound field. Theposi-
tionselector function lets you automatically
adjustthe speakersoutput levels and inserts
adelay time to match the number and posi-
tionof occupied seats.
1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select POSI.
Thefunction name tag POSI is highlighted.
2 PushMULTI-CONTROL left, right, up or
downto select a listening position.

Using balance adjustment

Thefunction name tag FAD/BAL is high-
lighted.
2 PushMULTI-CONTROL up or down to
adjustfront/rear speaker balance.
Eachpushing MULTI-CONTROL up or down
movesthe front/rear speaker balance towards
thefront or the rear.
FaderF25 Fader R25 is displayed as the
front/rearspeaker balance moves from front to
rear.
#FaderFR00 is the proper setting when only
twospeakers are used.
3 PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right to
adjustleft/right speaker balance.
Eachpushing MULTI-CONTROL left or right
movesthe left/right speaker balance towards
theleft or the right.
