Chapter 1 • Introduction and Features

Introduction to System 4xi

EXTRONS System 4xi Series of switchers (henceforth to be referred to as System 4xi ) combines the features of a projector-controlling switcher and a line-doubler or line-quadrupler into a rack-mountable enclosure with an internal power supply. The System 4xi ’s four video inputs can be any combination of the formats listed below and the output will always be RGB. Four stereo audio inputs are also available and can be selected following or separated from the selected video input.
