Front panel Configuration port

The front panel Configuration port is hard configured as RS-232 only. The port can operate at the 9600, 19200, 38400, or 115200 baud rate, but Extron recommends leaving this port at 9600 baud only.

NThis port is independent of the rear panel Remote port and is not affected by changes to the rear panel port’s protocol. This front panel port’s protocol can be changed via an SIS command only. See the "Command/Response table for IP-Specific SIS commands", on page 4-23, to configure both ports using an SIS command.

The optional 9-pin D to 2.5 mm mini jack TRS RS-232 cable, part #70-335-01can be used for connection to the Configuration port.
