Internal Fonts
Fonts permanently stored in the printer's memory; also called resident
fonts.
I/O Input/output, the process of gathering data for the p rinter to work with and
then making the results avai lable.
I/O Cable
A cable that attaches the printer to the host computer to allow data or co ntrol
messages to be sent between the printer and the computer.
Jam
What happens when a sheet of paper or a transparency gets stuck
somewhere along the printer's p aper path.
Jam Recovery
The ability of the printer to reprint the jammed page and then continues
with the print job once you rem ove the jammed paper (as long as you don't
turn the printer off). With most printers, if a paper j am occurs, you must
remove the jammed paper and then reprint the job.
LAN
Local Area Network, a data communication system providing physical
connectivity and shared resources of device s operating in the same general
area.

Left Key
This key moves the cursor left one character position. Use it and the Right
key when entering character information.

A paper size 8.5" x 14.0" (216 mm x 355.6 mm).
