Media Sizes and Imageable Areas
Your printer supports paper, transparencies and other types of print
media in a variety of sizes. (See chapter 5, the “Manual Feed” sec-
tion, for specific paper type information.) Each size has a sp ecific
imageable area, the maximum area the printer is capable of pr inting
for that size media. The imageable area is determined by hardware
limits (the physical page size and the margins required by the print
engine) and software constraints (the amount of memor y available for
the full-page frame buffer).

blacks and sharper contrast by using special laser printer paper which
