PROTECTOR® SERIES GAS FRYER
CHAPTER 1: GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1Applicability and Validity
The Protector® Series Gas Fryer with SMART4U® technology has been approved by the European Union for sale and installation in the following EU countries: AT, BE, DE, DK, ES, FI, FR, GB, IE, IT, LU, NL, NO, PT and SE.
This manual is applicable to and valid for all Protector® Series Gas Fryers sold in English- speaking countries, including those in the European Union. Where conflicts exist between in- structions and information in this manual and local or national codes of the country in which the equipment is installed, installation and operation shall comply with those codes.
This appliance is only for professional use and shall be used by qualified personnel only, as defined in Section 1.7.

Your fryer is equipped with automatic safety features:
1.High temperature detection shuts off gas to the burner assembly should the controlling thermostat fail.
2.An optional safety switch built into the drain valve prevents burner ignition with the drain valve even partially open.
