Connecting an external keyboard
You do not need to switch your notebook off.
ÊConnect the external keyboard to the PS/2 port on the Port Replicator.
Connecting an external PS/2 mouse
You do not need to switch your notebook off.
ÊConnect the mouse to the PS/2 port of the Port Replicator.
Using the parallel port
ÊSwitch the notebook off.
ÊConnect the data cable of the printer to the parallel port on the notebook.
ÊPlug the printer power cable into the mains outlet.
ÊFirst switch the printer on, then the notebook.
Connecting USB devices
On the USB ports you can connect external devices that also have a USB port (e.g. a printer, a scanner or a modem).
