CHAPTER 4: Upgrading Your Computer

11Slide the drive bay back into your computer, making sure that the tabs on the bottom of the bay align with and slide into the slots on the bottom of your computer.

12Secure the drive bay to your computer using the screw you removed previously.

13Connect the drive cables. If you are replacing a drive, use your notes from Step 3.

14Replace the side panel by following the instructions in “Replacing the side panel” on page 33.

15Reconnect all external cables and the power cord.

16Turn on your computer.

17Install Windows using the operating system DVD that came with your computer. For more information on restoring your system, see “Recovering your system” on page 97.
