5Replace the side panel by following the instructions in “Replacing the side panel” on page 33.

Replacing the rear fan

Tools

You need a Phillips screwdriver to replace the rear fan.

To replace the rear fan:

1Remove the side panel by following the instructions in “Removing the side panel” on page 31.

2Disconnect the fan from the system board.

Important

The location of the fan connection may vary, so make sure that you trace the fan cable from the fan to the system board.
